Creating a Recurring Income Membership Site
Membership sites are fast becoming one of the most popular ways of systematically making money online, and it’s easy to see why. Done properly, they are a way of not only generating recurring income month after month, but increasing that income monthly too.
How many websites are you a member of? I don’t just mean those where you pay a subscription fee, but those where you have to log in to access materials or interact with other members. Whether free or paid, they are all membership sites and all will generate an income via fees, advertising or selling products.
Of course, for the optimum recurring income, a paid subscription membership site is the way to go. Imagine this: you have 10 members paying $15 a month for the service you provide. That’s $150 a month. Now imagine you have 100 members…or 200…or 1000. And who says you need to stick to having one site…? Internet users are increasingly willing to pay for quality information or services, especially when it’s in one easy to access place, and as the number of world wide users increase, then so will the demand for specialist sites.
So what kind of information or services can you provide? In general, a membership site will provide information about a specific topic, or it will be a place where you will find lots of related, usable products under one banner (for example resell rights sites). You can provide this information yourself, outsource it or gather it into a cohesive package.
There is no point, however good your idea for a membership site or how much demand for it, if you don’t know internet marketing basics. To be a success you will need to know about setting up sites, optimizing them, promoting them, getting traffic, autoresponders…and much more. So take the time to really learn the basics and beyond before embarking on your business. Then you’ll be well on your way to creating a recurring income membership site that will bring you success.
