Seeing failure in a different light
Almost every successful (and truthful) online marketer will tell you that it took time and a few failures along the way to get to where they are now. The fact is that there are loads of ways to make money online, and each one comes with a learning curve. Unless you’re very lucky, it’s going to take you a while to figure out what type of marketing suits you. But should we think of those things that haven’t worked as failures? I don’t think so.
If you have tried something and it hasn’t worked for you, don’t think of it as a failure, but as a step to getting where you want to be. It wasn’t for you, but you weren’t to know that until you tried. The fact that you have tried and moved on shows tenacity and progress.
And here’s the thing – every time you try a new marketing technique, you will be learning more about online business. You will be learning about the technicalities, like registering a domain name or setting up an autoresponder. Little snippets of info will lodge in your brain. And one day, you’ll come to the realisation that you have gone from being baffled over most online things to actually knowing quite a bit. Then it’s a case of putting it all together and making it work for you.
