How to set up a website email address with cPanel

If you want to have contact details on your website, then you need to set up an email account for that domain. It’s a doddle with cPanel. Here’s how:

1. In the main cPanel screen go to the section marked Mail and click on Email Accounts.
2. Under Add a new email account, put the name you want in the box marked email (your first name or admin, for example). If you have more than one domain or site, then select the one you need from the drop-down box.
3. Generate a password.
4. Click on the Create box.

And that’s it! You now have an email address for your website along the lines of myname@mydomain.com. The next how-to will show you how you can have this forwarded to your main email address.
